What is YogaDancing?
YogaDancing combines the mindful path of yoga with the joy of dancing to multicultural music and was developed by Miriam Wessels. In YogaDancing, you can dance your own individual movements. Both the guided steps and the free dance help you to get in touch with yourself. It enables a deep experience of the body and awareness of one’s own self. This opens up access to one’s own spirituality. How does my body want to move? Which movements arise easily and from within myself? By following my intuition, my inner impulses with courage to my strength, flexibility, and creativity! To the YogaDancing formats
What can I expect from a YogaDancing class?
YogaDancing combines all aspects of yoga with dance, resulting in an invigorating endurance workout. The interplay of body alignment and movement causes energy to flow throughout the entire body. In YogaDancing, structured guided sequences alternate with phases of free movement. The music selection inspires you to step out of your comfort zone and rediscover long-forgotten movements.
The integrated yoga flows bring more flexibility to the body and allow all structures to swing freely. After a relaxation phase, which is particularly restorative after the activity, YogaDancing concludes with a movement meditation called “mantra moves.” This is an approach to a meditative experience that arises through dynamics. YogaDancing is a simple, joyful experience that brings your attention back to yourself.

YogaDancing means fun, joie de vivre, personal development, feeling yourself, meditation in motion, simply dancing, soul, zest for life! YogaDancing offers a way to explore the world of movement in a DIFFERENT way. It combines the mindful path of yoga with the joy of dancing to multicultural music.
At the FYTT location in Hamburg Groß Borstel, there are regular YogaDancing classes in the current course schedule of the FYTT location.
You can learn about the special form of YogaDancing in various workshop formats. The workshops either focus on a specific topic within YogaDancing or offer you a compact introduction in a one-day workshop.
Yoga, Gong, and Dance invites you to recalibrate your own vibration. After a quiet arrival phase, we open the system for a long gong meditation with an energetic, extensive yoga set. It is assumed that the all-encompassing frequency spectrum of gong playing touches the subtle level of the entire system of a living being. This creates the opportunity to dissolve existing structures, create space, and truly reconstitute oneself. The vibrations of the gong, which are absorbed not only through the ears but through the entire body, help in this process.
After this transformation, movement to rich music supports grounding and paves the way to self-awareness. This fireworks display of experiences has an effect that extends into everyday life.
